Biography
Adrian Enache is a Romanian pop singer and a show-man on every performance.
He was born in Galati, Romania, on 12th of June 1966. He attended first classes on nr. 6 School then on Al.I.Cuza Highschool in Galati. He graduated The Polytechnic Institute with an engineer certificate in Metallurgy.
He also followed classes with Mihaela Runceanu and Ionel Tudor on Art School.
HIS ROCK TIME
During his student years at the Institute he was part of the 2 most important rock bands from Galati – 6200 and Phoebus. With the Phoebus band he won many awards at the rock festivals around the country at that time. Around this time he gets the offer from a legendary Romanian rock band, Compact, to become their vocalist. Adrian declines the offer in favor of his studies.
HIS MUSICAL DEBUT
Adrian Enache makes his first appearance as a pop artist in 1989 at the most important Festival in Romania , Mamaia Song Festival but he is disqualified because of his style , too daring , for the norms of the Communist era at that time.
In 1990 he takes part again at the same Festival and gets second place, losing to Laura Stoica, one of the best singers from Romania many years from now.
In 1992 , the composer Dani Constantin gives him one of his songs “Moartea mea e dragostea” which becomes a hit. The National Television makes a video-clip for it in his natal town ,Galati. The song is included on a Romanian compilation of hits of that time.
In 1994 he is hired by the “Toma Caragiu” Theater in Ploiesti. Here he meets Aurelian Temisan and Daniel Iordachioae and together they make a musical trio with a great success .
In 1995,Adrian Enache is asked to present a talent show for kids “Tip Top Minitop” which has a big rating and his popularity grows considerably.
HIS FIRST ALBUM AND THE BIG MEETING WITH TOM JONES
In 1996,he represents Romania at the International Song Festival “ The Golden Stag” in Brasov, Romania. His first album is released with this occasion ,“E o nebunie” , but also a champagne that was named after him. The first glass of this champagne he drinks it with his idol , Tom Jones, invited at the Festival. Tom Jones was impressed by Adrian’s voice after he heard him sing. At the same time a book with Adrian Enache as the central figure ‘Running for a star” was released in book stores.
In 1997, he wins second place at the International Festival in Pamukalle in Turkey. A year later he is invited for a recital and he sang in the opening of Tom Jones ‘s show.
HIS CAREER KEEPS RISING
In 1998 he takes part at the National selection for the Eurovision Song contest singing, together with a group of other singers, “E, e, e iubire”. The song does not win but becomes one of that year’s hits , together with other of his songs “Esti o simpla amintire”
In 1999 , his second album is released “Nebun dupa FeMeI”, and he gets the recognition for the best male voice of Romania. In the same year is hired at the “Constantin Tanase” Theatre in Bucharest, at the suggestion of the director Alexandru Arsinel.
In 2001, at the International Festival “Voices of Asia” in Kazahstan he gets 3rd place and is declared the best male voice in the contest.
SHOW-MAN IN HIS SHOWS
In 2002 he makes his acting debut in the musical “Nota 0 la purtare” with the leading role. Since then he is to appear in most of theater programs because of his showman performances. This is the year of his third album “O singura noapte” where his musical style is completely changed ,at the suggestion of his record company Roton. The volcanic and temperamental artist is now a romantic and sensitive nature which fits him very well judging by the success of this album.
In 2005 he leaves for a tournament in Israel with the “Constantin Tanase “ Theatre and his shows are a big hit and are highlighted in the local press.
In 2006 he plays with the Bucharest Symphonic Pops Orchestra in the Christmas Show “Proms of Delight”
In 2007, he hosts on the Romanian tv Channel Kanal D a musical program called “Furori” and later in the summer of the same year another tv program “Stare de show”
HIS PERFORMANCES WITH THE ROMANIAN FOOTBALL TEAM OF THE ARTISTS
In 2013 the Romanian Football team of the Artists , with Adrian Enache as captain, wins second place at the World Cup for artists teams in Sochi, Russia .At the party after the game he sings with Bonnie M.
In 2014, The Romanian Football team of the artists wins the title at the World Cup for artists team in Moscow
HIS CAREER KEEPS GOING
In 2014 he performs for the first time in a USA tournament with a few other Romanian artists
In 2014, he performs a 90 minutes 100% live show with a band ,Ionel Tudor ‘ s band, with a huge success to the audience.
